How long you take time to scan virus? 

The basic steps to scan virus is only update program and database then scan virus.  This is not good idea to do that because of you may be take to long time to scan your temp files and you have to wait for virus program scan completed too.  So why not try the steps below to scan virus more faster and more efficiency.

Steps How to Scan Virus Fast, Efficiency

  1. Clear All temporary files, temporary internet file, Empty Recycle Bin  (no need to scan temp files)
  2. Clear Internet Cache, Cookie
  3. Update Virus Program and Database
  4. Run Windows in Safe mode (some antivirus can run in Safe Mode)
  5. Close All Programs (including Screen Saver)
  6. Scan Whole Computer including Remove Media (Flash Drive, USB Haddisk)
  7. Shutdown Windows

Tips :  We recommended you to set update virus program and database (before) then set schedule for scaning virus everyday (if possible may be 12.00 - you lunch time)
