Windows not detect USB Flash Drive
My Flash Dirve does not show on “My Computer” !!! But it’s work when I’m using anohter computer.
Many people using Flash Drive or external media for backup data, musics and movies files. Sometime when we insert Flash Drive to USB port. It does not show on “My Computer” list.
Try to fix this issue by Uninstall USB Driver and Re-install updated driver again.
How to Re-Install USB Driver?
- Right-click on “My Computer” then select “Properties”
- Click tab “Hardware” and then click “Device Manager”
- Scroll down below to items ”Universal Serial Bus controllers” and then click to select
- If you found red color of “X” on any items, try to click “Enable”
- If not, try to remove by Right-click on “USB Root Hub” and select “Uninstall”
- Then try to Install again by click “Scan for hardware change”

Arrange Icons
How many icons display on your desktop? Do you know how to sort icons automatics. Windows XP provide command for arranges desktop icons by sort by Name, Size, Type and Modify. Just Right-click on desktop and then select “Arrange Icons by” Name, Size, Type and Mofify
You also can select “Auto Arrange” to automatic sort icons on desktop too.

Something may be use need to hide desktop icons for show “Windows Background” or any. Just Right-click on desktop and then select “Arrange Icons by” and then select “Show Desktop Icons” (Show / Hide)

- And then click “Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard”
- Click “Next” to continue
- Program wil show and automatic select icons never used.
- To continue to remove to “Unused Desktop Folder Shortcut” click ”Next”
- Click “Finish” to confirm
