How many icons display on your desktop? Do you know how to sort icons automatics. Windows XP provide command for arranges desktop icons by sort by Name, Size, Type and Modify. Just Right-click on desktop and then select “Arrange Icons by” Name, Size, Type and Mofify
You also can select “Auto Arrange” to automatic sort icons on desktop too.
