Backup & Restore Outlook Express

How often you are backup your mail?? Is it important for you?

If?you are using Outlook Express and neet to backup?and/or need to?restore to another computer/laptop.? And you don’t know where is?mail-box store.? Please try to?do?some step below;

Where is?mail-box of Outlook Express?

  1. Open “Outlook Express” program
  2. Click “Tools” then select “Options”
  3. Click?”Maintenance” Tab and then click “Store Folder”
  4. Store Location Outlook Express

  5. Copy Location to “Windows Explorer” and you will find it
  6. All of files?are “Mail-Box” of Outlook Express
  7. Copy to any external media as you like

How to Restore from Backup?

  1. Open?”Outlook Express” program
  2. Click menu “File” then click “Import” and select “Message”
  3. Select “Microsoft Outlook Express” then click “Next”
  4. Specify Location or click?”Main Identity”?if you don’t specific and click “OK”
  5. Select your backup “Mail-Box” drive and location, then click “Next”
  6. Select message folder and then click “Next”
  7. Restore Outlook Express Folder

  8. Wait … for Import message
  9. Click “Finish” when done

Create a password reset disk

  1. We have to logon?”Administrator” user only?
  2. Click “Start”, and then click “Control Panel”
  3. Under “Pick a category”, click “User Accounts”
  4. In the “User Accounts” window, click the “administrator” account name that you want to create a password reset disk for .
  5. Under the “Related Tasks” section, click “Prevent a forgotten password”
  6. Prevent Forgotten Password

  7. On the Welcome to the “Forgotten Password Wizard” page, click “Next”
  8. Insert a floppy disk into disk drive. then select the disk drive you want to use, and then click “Next”
  9. Type your password, and then click “Next”
  10. Create a password reset disk

  11. After the “Forgotten Password Wizard” creates your password reset disk, click “Next”
  12. Click “Finish”
