Imagicon is small graphic utility designed to convert multiple image file from BMP, JPG and PNG to BMP, JPG, PNG and ICO. You can conver to icons and use for icon of web link “favicon.ico”
Options are available to transform images and enable alpha transparency of icons. The interface window of Imagicon can be personalized with custom designs. The user can select to save icons with the following dimensions in pixels: 16 x 16, 32 x 32, 48 x 48, 64 x 64 and 128 x 128. Imagicon also features the ability to drag ‘n’ drop multiple images for faster processing.

Pic2Icon is a program from “Sugar Club Software” that creates beautiful 128×128 Mac OS X icons for your pictures. Simply drop pictures or folders full of pictures onto the application and it will start creating icons.
These icons will be applied to the pictures, so you can browse through them in the finder and you will be able to identify them without having to open them! Hopefully, Mac OS X will some day do this without a third party add-on.
