By default, if you are remote to anohter computer by using “Remote Desktop Connection” in Windows XP. And if you need to copy a files from remote computer, you will can’t see the “local drive”
However you also can copy files pass through “Remote Desktop Connection” by make your local disk drives available in a session and then you will find the local drive when remote.
How to make your local disk drives available in a session?
- Click ”Start” then “All programs” then click “Accessoires”
- In the “Remote Desktop Connection” window, click “Options”.
- On the “Local Resources” tab, Under “Local devices and resource”, click “More” and then click “Drives”.
- Select any Drive to connect as “local drive”
- Click ”Connect” to start remote
- When you copy “Windows Explorer”, you will found group “Other” and local drive there
- Done
