Remote Desktop in Windows Vista

If you want to support another computer in your network without go there, Windows XP and Vista had been provide us program to support by remote called “Remote Desktop”

Once connected, Remote Desktop gives you mouse and keyboard control over your computer while showing you everything that’s happening on the screen.

How to use Remote Desktop ?

  1. Click ”Start”, then go to All Programs
  2. Select “Accessories” and then click on “Remote Desktop Connection”
  3. The Remote Desktop Connection Window will appear, just type the IP or domain name of remote computer and then click “Connect” 
  4. Vista Remote Desktop

  5. Another window will pop up, Type in the remote computer’s username and password (should be Administrator username and password) and then click OK

Note: If you connect to earlier version of “Remote Desktop”, then the following message box will appear, just click Yes to continue the connecting process.
