Do you know Windows ReadyBoost in Windows Vista ?

A new concetp in adding memory to a system  by using Windows ReadyBoost.  Normally adding system memory by using a adding Memory Card (RAM) However, upgrading memory can be too difficult for home user and also have more cost.  And another thing, some computer has limited memory expension slots.

What is Windows ReadyBoost ?

This is program for manage system memorty by using flash memory (Flash Drive, Thumb Drive) pass through USB (Universal Serial Bus), to improve performance of the whole system.

Windows Vista will check automatic when we insert Flash Drive into USB ports and compare performance if fast enough to work with Windows ReadyBoost.

How to open Windows ReadyBoost ?

  1. Insset Flash Drive to USB Port
  2. Right-click on Remove Disk Properties
  3. Select “ReadyBoost” Tab
  4. Specific the space for speed up
