How often you reinstall Windows XP?

As we know, when we install or re-install Windows XP, you have to activate Windows within 1 months.  That is OK, if you just install Windows, but if you upgrade harddisk or need to re-install Windows because of virus or computer slowdown.  You still need to activate Windows again.

Do you know WPA.DBL file?

WPA.DBL file is a Windows Product Activated File and resides in c:\Windows\system32.  When install Windwos in the first time, the file size is about 2 KB. After Activated Windows, the WPA.DBL file size will increase to 12-13 KB.  (Windows will record all hardware information to WPA.DBL file)

Why not? Backup WPA.DBL file before re-install Windows

Noted: WPA.DBL is working only computer you backup
